Getting To Us

By Road

If using Sat-Nav enter postcode PA23 8LA or Eccles Road, Hunters Quay, Dunoon as your destination.

Whilst it is possible to drive the whole distance it is faster to complete the final leg of your journey using the local ferry service. Your Sat-Nav should take you to the ferry terminal at McInroy’s Point as part of the fastest route.

The operator is Western Ferries and you can find timetables and fare details on their website here. Alternatively, you can call them on 01369 704452.

A passenger ferry service departs from close to the railway station, and docks close to Dunoon town centre. This is approximately 2 miles distance away from our location in Hunters Quay. It’s a lovely walk along the seafront by the Clyde, but with luggage it may be preferable to hop on one of the regular buses that run this route and will drop you off less than 5 minutes walk away.

The ferry operator is Caledonian MacBrayne and you can find timetables and fare details on their website here. Or you can call them on 0800 066 5000 (or +44 01475 650 397 international).

Alternatively, a larger vehicle ferry operates from a terminal at McInroy’s Point which is approximately 2 miles distance away from the railway station in Gourock. Again, a lovely walk along the water’s edge, regular buses also run this route if you have heavy or awkward luggage.

Foot passengers are welcome aboard, and the ferry has a comfortable lounge to sit in during the crossing.
